While many of you may have been huddled inside last Saturday, rooting on the Razorbacks as they narrowly escaped with a win against Vanderbilt, Eat My Catfish was busy at another Saturday catering.  It was a day worth celebrating.   We travelled down I-40 toward Lonoke to cook for the party gathered to witness Amy and Danny’s big day.

It was the perfect country setting for, as Travis called it, a “gettin’ hitched party.”  The ceremony took place outdoors under a wooden, open air pavilion decorated with just the right fall touches – pumpkins, hay, flowers, and Christmas lights lining the rafters overhead.   To complete the scene, an aging Oak, leaves golden yellows and orange, shaded one side of the pavilion, and the bride walked a hay bale-lined aisle underneath it inside to say her vows.  Storybook beautiful?  I think so.

After the ceremony, guest strolled over to the buffet line and feasted on our fried catfish, hand-battered chicken, hushpuppies, slaw, beans, and fries.

Eat My Catfish will be happy to cater your big day, a special day, or just any ole’ regular day.  We don’t do wedding cake, but our fried pies may be the next best thing.

Congrats Amy and Danny!  Eat My Catfish wishes you all the best.
